Description

A fixed-term internship designed to upskill a candidate in the media and advertising industry. The role is structured around four key pillars: People (upholding company culture and stakeholder management), Product (learning client business, using Dentsu tools, and delivering high-quality work), Profit (understanding financial targets and trading), and Operations (adopting workflow systems). The intern will receive training to contribute to client projects and media campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold the Dentsu culture and manage relationships with internal teams, clients, and media owners
  • Learn and utilize Dentsu tools and frameworks (eg, Intersections, CCS Planner, Telmar)
  • Deliver high-quality, accurate work for clients, including reports, schedules, and presentations
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Understand the financial targets of the portfolio and the trading agenda
  • Adopt and use all internal workflow systems (eg, Chase, MEPlan, METime, Salesforce)

Qualifications

  • Matric Certificate
  • South African ID
  • Strong acumen in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Clear communication skills
  • Time management and critical thinking capability
  • Open to learning new platforms
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Added Advantage: A university qualification
