Eligible applicants include those pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma, Bachelor's degree, or Honours degree in fields such as Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, Data Sciences, Statistics, Agriculture, Civil Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction, Economical Technical Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, and Risk Management.
The bursary covers several costs, capped at a certain amount, including registration/tuition fees, accommodation (deposit, admin fees, etc.), learning material (books, e-manuals, etc.), laptops, monthly allowance, and travel/transport allowance.
The selection criteria focus on the academic potential and motivation for a career with Santam, with a minimum average achievement of 65% and above for current academic results. Applications must be completed online on the StudyTrust's Nuna platform (via WhatsApp or the web) by September 30, 2024, for consideration for the 2025 bursary.
