DLK Group is seeking a creative and driven Marketing Intern to join their on-site team in Pinelands, Cape Town. This full-time internship offers a vibrant launchpad for individuals passionate about content creation, branding, and digital storytelling. Interns will work closely with the Marketing Lead to manage content calendars, research and write engaging copy, design graphics and videos using brand templates, and support multi-channel marketing efforts across blogs, social media, and email campaigns. The role promises hands-on experience, mentorship, and the chance to see your ideas come to life in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and update the content calendar to organize publishing schedules
• Schedule and balance blog articles, case studies, social media posts, email newsletters, and visual/video content
• Coordinate monthly content calendar reviews with management
• Research relevant topics to support content creation across platforms
• Draft and edit blog articles, social posts, and case study narratives aligned with brand tone
• Design static graphics and short videos using approved brand templates
• Ensure visuals adhere to brand standards including logos, fonts, colors, and layout
• Collaborate with marketing leads to visually bring campaigns and stories to life
• Create platform-optimized content for various digital channels
• Prepare assets for email campaigns, social media scheduling, and blog publication
• Learn to tailor content by platform and audience

Qualifications

• Studying or recently completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field
• Strong written communication skills and a good visual eye
• Familiarity with Canva, Wix or other CMS platforms, and social media tools is beneficial
• Curiosity about video editing or digital storytelling is a plus
• Must reside in the Western Cape as this is an on-site role
• Proactive, self-motivated learner with a passion for marketing, content creation, or branding
