The Graduate in Training program at ABB offers recent university graduates a dynamic platform to develop professional skills through a hybrid learning model that combines vocational training with practical work experience. Reporting to the Country Holding Officer, participants will rotate across key business functions, gaining exposure to ABB’s operations while contributing to the Process Automation Business Area. This role emphasizes continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation, preparing graduates to thrive in a global industrial environment. Responsibilities

• Enhance operational efficiency by tracking Key Performance Indicators and ensuring timely order delivery
• Monitor inquiry trends and collaborate with internal teams to implement process improvements
• Follow instructions, practice skills, and seek feedback to support professional development
• Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay aligned with company policies and best practices

Qualifications

• University graduate with no more than 2 years of working experience
• BA or BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Health & Safety, or Marketing & Communication
• Minimum average of 65% throughout academic studies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• South African citizenship
• Growth mindset with a focus on continual learning and improvement
• Strong problem-solving, creative thinking, and innovation capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, high self-confidence, and a strong desire to learn
