The Business Solutions Analyst (Solution Analyst) is responsible for aligning business objectives with technology and system capabilities. The role combines business and systems analysis to identify opportunities for improvement, assess the impact of changes, and recommend innovative solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and testers, to ensure that solutions are fit for purpose, efficient, and deliver measurable value to the organisation

Responsibilities

• Engage with key stakeholders to conduct business needs analysis and define solution requirements
• Translate complex business processes into clear, actionable functional and technical requirements
• Conduct impact and risk analysis for system or process enhancements
• Recommend solutions that are aligned with business objectives and system capabilities
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum environments, participating in ceremonies such as Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases
• Support data migration and system integration projects, including data flow mapping, SQL-based data retrieval, and API design understanding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
