Description

As an Assistant Buyer Intern, you will contribute to the continued growth of Superbalist by supporting the Buyer in a specific product category (or categories). Your main responsibility is to assist in the coordination and administration of tasks related to the purchasing and sourcing of products, ensuring that product data, supplier communication, and operational processes run efficiently

Responsibilities

  • Complete all administrative documentation required for loading products into the Superbalist system
  • Communicate with suppliers to gather and verify all necessary product information
  • Process product amendments and ensure updates are communicated to relevant stakeholders
  • Support the customer service team in resolving product and order queries, including sourcing and pricing information
  • Manage product orders through the critical path process
  • Pull weekly reports on incoming stock and liaise with suppliers to arrange product samples
  • Assist in managing coordination between retail and production teams
  • Prepare product and document packs for quarterly SWOT analyses
  • Generate weekly sales and performance reports as requested by the Buyer
  • Maintain and organise the retail sample room

Qualifications

  • Diploma: Retail Buying, Fashion, Business Management, or related field
