A 12-month internship in the People & Transformation (Talent Acquisition) department, starting in February 2026. The intern will play a vital role in supporting the full recruitment lifecycle, from publishing job adverts to coordinating interviews and onboarding. The primary focus is on ensuring a seamless, efficient, and memorable candidate experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle administration for end-to-end recruitment (publishing adverts, scheduling interviews, coordinating site visits, initiating pre-employment checks)
• Prioritize and enhance the candidate experience
• Provide timely advice and support to the Talent Acquisition Team
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on recruitment administration activity
• Manage Talent Acquisition data, ensuring all information is captured accurately and timely
• Perform other administrative duties as requested by the Talent Acquisition leadership

Qualifications

• Qualification: HR-related Degree or Diploma, or related qualification
• Skills & Attributes:
• Strong administration skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work proactively under pressure, solve problems, and manage time effectively
• Friendly, positive attitude with a strong work ethic for a fast-paced environment
• Minimum Requirements:
• Must be between 18 and 35 years old
• Must be a South African Citizen
• Must be unemployed (with less than 6 months of previous employment)
• Must not have been on an internship with INSETA before
• Must have a completed relevant qualification
