The Graduate in Training – Security Systems programme at Eskom Rotek Industries (ERI) provides a developmental opportunity for graduates to gain hands-on experience in security operations, technology, investigations, and training. The role focuses on protecting people, assets, information, and business interests by ensuring compliance with legal, technical, and corporate requirements. Participants will work within the Risk and Strategy Division and will be guided through research, system implementation, and security technology processes, gaining professional exposure in technical and investigative security fields.

Responsibilities

• Research and recommend technically sound security systems and solutions
• Support the implementation and maintenance of Eskom Rotek Industries’ security technologies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to stay updated on security trends and regulations
• Apply investigative techniques and assist with system testing and commissioning
• Support compliance with security laws, regulations, and internal policies

Qualifications

• Qualification: Matric and a Diploma in Information Technology (preferably Information Systems)
• Experience: No work experience required
• Other: Must be willing to undergo structured training in security systems and technologies within Eskom’s Risk and Strategy Division
