AFGRI Farmer Development is inviting applications for a twelve-month Learnership Programme based at Vasfontein Farm, Pretoria North, Gauteng. This program is aimed at training participants in farming with crops and animals. South African citizens with a Grade 12 qualification or equivalent are eligible, with preference for women and individuals with disabilities. The successful candidates will gain practical experience and undertake both on-the-job and off-the-job training during the learnership. The closing date for applications is 19 November 2025, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. AFGRI adheres to the Protection of Personal Information Act, ensuring lawful handling of applicants' personal information.

Responsibilities

• Gain all-round work experience by fulfilling various duties and responsibilities aligned with the programme on the farm
• Work with a cross-functional team to complete the programme and contribute to project work in support of the teams

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
