Responsibilities

• Progress against Structured Development Plan (SDP) learning elements and embrace role redeployments within Exxaro's operations as necessary
• Engage in bi-annual performance reviews using established templates to foster professional development
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the company's reputation and collaboration efforts
• Participate actively in the annual PIT symposium by presenting projects and contributing to knowledge sharing
• Submit comprehensive progress reports punctually for evaluation, ensuring adherence to reporting deadlines
• Uphold a safe and compliant work environment by following all safety, health, and environmental policies
• Provide strategic and technical support to teams, introducing innovative project concepts and engaging in technical dialogues
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations and ensure cost efficiency
• Contribute to the development of high-performance teams by aligning with and promoting organizational values and excellence systems
• Participate in research activities and initiatives that facilitate knowledge sharing and professional skill development

Qualifications

• Relevant B Hons
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated leadership potential and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant industry-specific software tools
• Willingness to relocate and work across multiple locations within Limpopo and Mpumalanga as required
• Commitment to continuous personal and professional development and learning
• Adaptability and resilience in dynamic work environments to navigate diverse professional challenges
• Capable of managing multiple assignments and prioritising tasks effectively under tight deadlines
