Fraser Alexander (Pty) Ltd. Is seeking an Assistant General Worker for a contract position in the mining industry. The role involves providing site assistance, supporting operational goals, conducting inspections, and maintaining a safe work environment. Qualifications include a Grade 12 education and at least one year of relevant experience. Key skills required are good communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and a safety-conscious attitude. The candidate must pass screening checks, be physically fit, and may need to work rotating shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with site teams to support the achievement of operational goals and targets
• Assist with daily inspections of the designated area of responsibility, report any deviations or hazards
• Support pipeline and valve operations (under supervision)
• Assist with problem-solving of operational challenges and escalate deviations to site teams
• Assist with any general assigned site activities as required to support operations
• Perform basic housekeeping duties in work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / or equivalent
• A minimum of one-year relevant experience
