Fraser Alexander (Pty) Ltd. Is seeking an Assistant General Worker for a contract position in the mining industry. The role entails providing general site assistance, supporting operational goals, conducting inspections, and aiding in pipeline and valve operations under supervision. Candidates should hold a Grade 12 qualification or equivalent and have at least one year of relevant experience, as well as strong communication skills, teamwork ability, and safety consciousness. The position may involve rotating shifts and overtime, requiring physical and medical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with site teams to support the achievement of operational goals and targets
• Assist with daily inspections of the designated area of responsibility, report any deviations or hazards
• Support pipeline and valve operations (under supervision)
• Assist with problem-solving of operational challenges and escalate deviations to site teams
• Assist with any general assigned site activities as required to support operations
• Perform basic housekeeping duties in work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / or equivalent
• A minimum of one-year relevant experience
