Sappi is offering a one-year Information Technology Internship at its Rosebank office in Gauteng, South Africa, with an additional location available in Pretoria. This program is designed for recent graduates in Information Technology or Computer Science and provides practical, hands-on experience in solving technical problems, implementing upgrades, and supporting IT operations. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, interns will gain valuable exposure to hardware, software, and network maintenance, ensuring a smooth transition into the professional environment while contributing to meaningful IT service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyse and provide solutions to hardware and software technical problems
• Assist in the implementation of computer equipment and upgrades
• Provide service and maintenance of computers and network equipment
• Assist and attend to IT service desk queries within defined service level standards

Qualifications

• Grade 12/Matric qualification
• Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
• No prior experience required
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams)
