The Quality Assurance Intern role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise Aruba Networks is an onsite position based in the Western Cape. As part of the User Experience Insight (UXI) team, you will contribute to enhancing quality assurance practices through test automation, test planning, and collaboration with product and engineering teams. This internship offers the opportunity to work with innovative networking solutions that provide IT managers with insights into Wi-Fi, network, and application performance. You will gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies including Python, Linux-based IoT devices, cloud backend systems, and automation tools, while being part of a culture that values growth, inclusion, and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support the QA team in enhancing quality assurance practices
• Assist in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Participate in test planning and execution to ensure product reliability
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify and resolve issues
• Contribute to technical documentation and reporting of QA processes

Qualifications

• Knowledge of networking concepts and the OSI model
• Understanding of Wi-Fi technologies
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Ability to write and interpret technical documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-management and autonomy in work
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Experience with Wi-Fi tools like wpa_supplicant is beneficial
• Familiarity with Linux or Raspberry Pi devices is beneficial
• Experience with Terraform is beneficial
• Automation experience using Selenium is beneficial
