As a software tester, you will be involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment to mitigate risk and prevent software issues. You will conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose and any bugs or issues are removed within a product before it gets deployed to the users.
Responsible for assessing software quality through manual testing and providing technical sign-off based on the provided requirements. To ensure that OneCart products and systems work seamlessly.The role involves reviewing product requirements, designing test plans, executing manual test cases, and executing all levels of testing, including System, Integration, and Regression. Automation scripts are developed when needed, and defects and inconsistencies are detected and tracked. Reporting bugs to the development team and providing testing sign-off triggers go-live. Collaboration with cross-functional teams ensures quality throughout the software development lifecycle, and a consistent view of the product roadmap is maintained.
