Description

The Graduate in Training (GIT) program at Pele Energy Group is a 24‑month rotational initiative designed for recent graduates who are eager to launch their careers in a dynamic and impactful environment. This program provides a structured, fast‑paced learning experience across multiple business functions, offering exposure to corporate finance, treasury, financial analysis, compliance, and cross‑functional projects. Graduates will gain technical and soft skills, actively contribute to strategic initiatives, and engage with stakeholders while being mentored by senior leaders. Through hands‑on project ownership, innovative problem‑solving, and leadership development, participants will be prepared for long‑term career success and future leadership roles within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the implementation of the group’s corporate finance strategy
  • Provide support for corporate funding transactions from deal concept to financial close
  • Engage with stakeholders including lenders, investors, and other business units
  • Participate in the implementation of the group’s treasury strategy
  • Assist with liquidity management and external financing transactions to optimize funding strategies
  • Build and maintain financial models for project evaluation, investment analysis, and scenario planning
  • Support the preparation of valuation reports for project company SPVs using group methodology
  • Assist in preparing internal and external financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in a structured learning and development program aligned with company vision
  • Engage in high‑impact projects with cross‑departmental exposure to build leadership and operational competencies
  • Receive mentorship and coaching from senior leaders to accelerate growth
  • Rotate through key functions such as Marketing, Operations, Finance, HR, and Product Development
  • Contribute to strategic decision‑making by identifying interdependencies and synergies across teams
  • Engage in cross‑functional projects requiring collaboration with diverse colleagues
  • Identify and propose innovative solutions for optimizing workflows and improving efficiency
  • Assist in implementing business process improvements to drive cost reduction and resource optimization
  • Collaborate with senior managers to support deployment of new technologies and systems

Qualifications

  • Completed or final‑year undergraduate or honours degree in Investment Management, Econometrics, Statistics, or Mathematics
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Motivated self‑starter with a willingness to learn
  • Adaptable to new challenges and environments
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • Relevant internships or project experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of industry‑specific tools or software preferred
  • Fluency in additional languages is advantageous
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
