Description

Triton Express, through the TETA- and QCTO-accredited Triton Academy, is building a talent pool for a 12-month Freight Handling Learnership aimed at unemployed South African youth. The programme offers theoretical training and practical workplace experience in key logistics functions such as loading and off-loading goods, handling freight documentation, stock management, and general warehouse duties. Applicants must be South African citizens aged 23–35 with a minimum Grade 12/N3 qualification, medically fit, numerically inclined, and able to work shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Loading and off-loading goods from vehicles
  • Preparing a vehicle for trips
  • Receiving, dispatching, and handling freight documentation
  • Performing ancillary warehouse and transport-related duties
  • Delivery and collection of goods and stock
  • General housekeeping and maintaining clean workspaces

Qualifications

  • Candidates must be South African citizens
  • Grade 12/ TVET- N3/ NQF Level 2 qualification (Achieved 40% in Mathematics/Mathematics Literacy and English)
  • Be between the ages of 23 - 35 years
  • Must be medically fit
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Must be numerically orientated
