Responsibilities

  • Maintain academic performance: Achieve and sustain the required minimum academic average as outlined in the bursary agreement.
  • Attend classes and complete coursework: Commit fully to your studies and complete all assignments, projects, and examinations.
  • Submit progress reports: Provide academic transcripts or progress updates each semester/term to the bursary office.
  • Participate in bursary-related programs: Take part in bursary initiatives offerd by the institution and company (where applicable).
  • Uphold good conduct: Represent the company in a positive light.
  • Commit to work-back requirements: Fulfil any service obligations or internships with Exxaro after graduation (if and when applicable).
  • Communicate changes: Inform Exxaro bursary office promptly of any changes in your study programme, institution, or personal circumstances.

Qualifications

  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Aged between 18 and 28 years.
  • Currently enrolled in a minimum three-year diploma or degree program at an accredited Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) institution.
  • Officially be declared disabled under the Employment Equity Amendment Act (EEA).
