This learnership is part of the company's young talent strategy and directly pipelines into its Youth Empowerment Programme (YEP). Successful and high-performing learners are retained permanently for junior level roles through a focused development journey.
The YEP Learnership offers a 12-month contract, monthly allowance, financial assistance for study purposes, a national qualification (Certificate in Wealth Management, NQF level 4), on-the-job training and assessment, continuous coaching and mentoring, and a portfolio of working and learning evidence. The program involves acquiring knowledge of company products, services, operational processes, systems, attending classroom-based lessons, completing practical onsite training, assembling a portfolio of evidence, filling out workplace-based learning logbooks, passing formative and summative assessments, and carrying out tasks as contracted with the manager.
Minimum requirements include being a South African citizen, aged between 18 and 35 years, having passed Grade 12 Mathematics / Mathematics Literacy / Accounting and English with a minimum mark of 50% each, having a good command of English, being willing to commit to the 12-month programme, having a clear criminal and credit record, and having access to reliable transport.
Behavioral competencies include being motivated, independent, team player, time-management, and a go-getting attitude. Core competencies include cultivating innovation, client focus, driving results, collaborating, and resilience.
