The RAF is inviting qualified graduates to apply for its Graduate Development Program in the Technology and Digital Department: End-User Computing Services (Business Support) for 18-24 months. The program aims to provide development opportunities for young, high-potential individuals from diverse backgrounds, offering relevant work experience that aligns with their skill set and identified talents. The program will focus on developing technical, business, and leadership skills, setting the stage for dynamic growth.
Development outcomes and deliverables include Motor Vehicle Accident Processes and Procedures, Customer Service, IT Support, Hardware Maintenance and Repairs, Computer/System Network Support, Unix, Citrix, Windows, and Telecoms. Qualifications and other requirements include a certified copy of Grade 12/NQF 4 level Certificate, a B Degree in Information Technology or academic transcript, and a valid ID.
Behavioural and technical competencies required include planning, organizing and coordinating, personal mastery, judgment and decision making, ethics and values, client service orientation, resilience, written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and analytical skills, and basic computer literacy in MS Office.
Roles and duties include ensuring all Technology and Digital modules are completed within the specified timeframe, adhering to organizational policies, reporting information, building effective team relationships, and engaging relevant stakeholders.
Terms and conditions include a fixed-term contract appointment for the duration of the graduate programme, with prospects of permanent employment upon successful completion. Appointment will be subject to the successful completion of the degree and final academic results.
