Orica is inviting applications for its 2024 Graduate program, based in Johannesburg-Sandton. The program offers a two-year program that provides valuable insights and development from various cross-functional areas of the business through multi-disciplinary rotations, a personalized development roadmap, and a support network of subject-matter experts. The program encourages graduates to explore their career paths and discover specialist roles, broad career paths, or unexpected futures. Graduate rotation schemes prepare graduates with the skills and knowledge to launch their careers. Graduate circle groups allow for reflection and sharing of learnings across diverse experiences. Mentorship from senior leaders in the business is also provided. The program requires graduates with a willingness to learn, interest in working in an industrial environment, curiosity about technical applications of engineering and technology, ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary stakeholders, ability to analyze complex problems, and communication skills. The program is open to graduates with a BSc or BTech degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, with an aggregate of 60% and graduating between 2023 and 2024.
