Old Mutual Finance is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new software applications to meet business requirements. The role involves coding, testing, and analyzing software programs. The role involves conducting system design, drafting implementation plans, writing programs, and conducting unit testing. The candidate will work closely with Business Analysts, provide coaching and mentoring to junior programmers, contribute to the Old Mutual Finance knowledge, identify inefficiencies, and participate in Scrum delivery ceremonies. To succeed, candidates must have a Matric or Grade 12 equivalent, a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer systems, or information technology, and 8+ years of relevant experience working with Agile technologies.
