The Idwala Industrial Holdings Bursary is a fully-funded financial aid program aimed at supporting academically strong South African students from Danielskuil and nearby areas. It is designed to help students pursue degrees or diplomas in engineering, chemistry, and other technical fields relevant to the mining and industrial sectors. The bursary covers tuition, books, and possibly accommodation and meals, while also encouraging recipients to maintain high academic performance and develop skills aligned with Idwala’s business operations.

Responsibilities

• Full-time study commitment – focus on completing your degree or diploma successfully
• Maintain good academic performance – continue achieving strong results (usually 60% or higher in all major subjects)
• Provide progress reports – submit results or academic updates to Idwala as required
• Represent Idwala positively – act responsibly and uphold the company’s values while studying
• Return service or work (if required) – some bursaries may ask recipients to consider employment with Idwala after graduation, depending on the bursary terms

Qualifications

• South African citizen – must provide a valid ID
• Field of study – must be in engineering, chemistry, or a related technical discipline
• Enrolment – accepted or registered at a South African public university or TVET college for 2026
• Academic performance – minimum 60% in all major subjects (2025 results required)
• Residency – live in Danielskuil or within a 200 km radius of Danielskuil, Northern Cape
